Inverness Women’s Aid is here to support women, children & young people who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse.

1st July 2026 Update

We want to reassure everyone that Inverness Women’s Aid is still here and our services are continuing as usual.

Our refuge remains open and we are continuing to accept referrals. Women and children who need support can still access our specialist domestic abuse services.

We are aware there has been some confusion following recent media coverage regarding changes to one part of our outreach service funding. Inverness Women’s Aid has not closed and we remain committed to supporting women and children experiencing domestic abuse.

There is lots of useful information about domestic abuse on this site, along with links to other services and agencies. We offer a range of support including outreach and accommodation/refuge support.
